Petrochemical Engineering students’ in-house project paper, “Enhancement of Co-Solvent Transesterification Process Using Reactive Distillation” has been accepted for oral presentation at the International Conference CCECP 2017 (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering & Chemical Process 2017) to be held on 06-07, March 2017 in Singapore.
The project work on producing Bio-diesel and Bio-gasoline from WASTE COOKING OIL using n-hexane as a co-solvent in a Reactive Distillation column by B.E Petrochemical Engineering students Mr. Hariprasad, V.P. and Mr. Fakkrudeen Ali Ahamed, A. has been accepted for Oral presentation at CCECP 2017 in Singapore. This in-house project work is done at Petrochemical Engineering Laboratory of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.
The management of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore provided the infrastructural and computing facilities. The experimental components and suggestions for the various fabricational details are given by Dr. R. Paramasivam, HoD/PCE. Planning and constant encouragement given by Prof. N. Krishnaswamy, Dean is the driving force for the present work.
