The second graduation day of JCT college of Engineering and Technology was held on 28.03.2015 for the passed out students of the academic year 2010-14 at the college auditorium. The convocation ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of the JCT Shri.S.A.Subramanian. Dr.E.Balagurusamy, Former member, UPSC, New Delhi was the chief guest and the distributor degree certificates.
All department Heads along with Dr. G. Ramesh, Principal, Shri.S.A.Subramanian, Chairman, Dr.E.Balagurusamy, Chief Guest proceeded to the convocation hall in procession.The Principal Dr.G.Ramesh welcomed the gathering.
In his convocation address the Chief Guest Dr.E.Balagurusamy, congradulated the students for their graduation and appreciated their parents for educating their wards under severe constrains. The students must realized their responsibility to the nation by contributing by way of innovations and research potentials towards the developed status for the nation. He also stated that getting job is easy but continuing the job depends on their attitude. He advised the students to follow some important factors for success in life. Some hints for success in career are loyalty, flexibility, goal oriented creativity, initiative, taking responsibility. He stressed the need for keeping some role model to who have started from very low profile and achieved great success. Leadership skills, team work, attitude, honest and ethical practice while in career will definitely fetch success. Dr.E.Balagurusamy informed getting jobs in India is not difficult. While taking up any career opportunity, ethical values and the societal values must be respected. He highly appreciated the infra-structure and facilities available at JCT College of Engineering and Technology.
He distributed the degrees to 303 young graduates and also four Anna University rank holders. Many parents of the young graduates were present and happily seeing their wards taking up degree certificates. Dr. Suseela Thirumaran, Former Vice Chancellor of Thiruvalluvar University was also present and blessed the students. The ceremony ended with National Anthem.
