World Food Day – 2K17 organized by Department of Food Technology, JCTCET

         World Food Day was celebrated in the Department of Food Technology, JCT College of Engineering and Technology on 14, October, 2017. Welcome speech was given by the Head of the Department, Dr. R. Govindarajan about the theme of the programme “the future of migration – Invest in food security and rural development”. Presidential address was delivered by the Honorable Principal, Dr. G. Ramesh who inspired the students with his motivational speech. Then it was preceded with the open house exhibition, where the students exhibited their own project models and also the food processing concepts.

          The programme also included the food waste awareness videos prepared by the students, technical events such as food quiz and non-technical events such as flame-less cooking and treasure hunt.
