- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

About The Department
The Department of Civil Engineering is started in the year 2009-2010. It has been started with the objective to create outstanding engineers, with advanced teaching and learning aids for the students. The department has well qualified faculty members and excellent laboratory facilities. The undergraduate program imparts students to master over the field of Civil Engineering besides knowledge of recent trends and development to shine as a successful civil engineer. Students gain practical experience from field visits to the construction sites, dams and irrigation structures, etc. The department ranges a postgraduate program in order to provide wide knowledge on the core of Structural Engineering. Students gain training in their field of study through internships.
