Graduates will have successful career in food and allied industries at various levels of management.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PEO2<\/strong> &#8211; Graduates will have the core technical skills and knowledge that will empower them to pursue lifelong learning and research.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PEO3<\/strong> &#8211; Graduates will deliver innovative solutions and services to address industrial and societal challenges, upholding ethical principles and social responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Programme Outcomes<\/h3>\n<p>Engineering Graduates will be able to: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PO1 \u2013 Engineering Knowledge<\/strong>  &#8211; Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO2 &#8211; Problem analysis<\/strong> &#8211;  Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO3 &#8211; Design\/development of solutions<\/strong> \u2013 Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO4 &#8211; Conduct investigations of complex problems<\/strong> &#8211; Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO5 \u2013Modern tool usage<\/strong>\u2013Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO6 &#8211; The engineer and society<\/strong>\u2013Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO7 &#8211; Environment and sustainability<\/strong> \u2013Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO8 \u2013Ethics<\/strong> \u2013Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO9 \u2013Individual and team work<\/strong> \u2013Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO10 \u2013Communication<\/strong> \u2013Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO11 \u2013Project management and finance<\/strong> \u2013Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one\u2019s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO12 &#8211; Life-long learning<\/strong> \u2013Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PSO1<\/strong> &#8211;
