Celebration Overview
JCT College of Engineering and Technology joyfully celebrated Christmas Day on 23 December 2025, bringing together students, faculty members and staff for a meaningful celebration centered on the values of love, kindness, compassion and generosity.
More than 100 students, faculty members and staff participated in the celebration, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere across the campus.
Principal’s Address
Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, participated in the celebration and addressed the gathering. As part of the festivities, he also took part in the ceremonial cake cutting.
During his address, the Principal reflected on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and emphasized the importance of living with compassion, forgiveness and concern for others. He highlighted how the life of Jesus represents selfless love and service to humanity.
A Message of Love & Generosity
The celebration highlighted that Christmas extends beyond gifts, decorations and festivities. It is also an occasion to remember the importance of sharing love, showing kindness and helping those in need.
Participants were encouraged to embrace the true spirit of Christmas through generosity, charitable actions, forgiveness and compassion toward others.

Bible Reading
As part of the ceremony, a Bible passage was read in two languages, adding a meaningful spiritual dimension to the celebration and reflecting the message of Christmas among the participants.
Christmas Melodies by Students
Students contributed to the festive atmosphere by presenting Christmas melodies. Their performances brought energy and joy to the gathering and made the occasion more memorable for everyone present.
The musical performances provided an opportunity for students to participate actively in the celebration while spreading the message of peace, happiness and togetherness.
