Placement Drive Overview
The Training and Placement Cell of JCT College of Engineering and Technology successfully conducted an On-Campus Placement Drive on 10 October 2025 for the present final-year students from all departments.
The recruitment process was conducted by the HR and Talent Acquisition Team of Tap Academy, providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their aptitude, programming knowledge and technical capabilities.

Following the aptitude and programming rounds, 15 students successfully completed the recruitment process and received offer letters.
About the Recruitment Opportunity
Tap Academy, a unit of Tap Ed Tech Private Limited, focuses on preparing students for technology careers through industry-oriented training and employment opportunities.
Students were introduced to areas such as Full Stack Web Development, Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), hands-on project development and current industry technologies. The placement opportunity emphasized practical skills and exposure relevant to modern software development careers.
Career Opportunities
Students were introduced to various career pathways available in the software development industry, including:
- Front-End Developer
- Back-End Developer
- Full Stack Developer
- Software Engineer
Welcome Address
The recruitment process commenced with a welcome address delivered by Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal, JCT College of Engineering and Technology.
The address welcomed the recruitment team and encouraged students to utilize the opportunity to demonstrate their technical knowledge, problem-solving capabilities and professional readiness.
Pre-Placement Session
A detailed Pre-Placement Session was conducted by the HR and Talent Acquisition Team from Tap Academy before the recruitment rounds.
The HR Executive provided students with an overview of the company profile, nature of work, work locations, career opportunities and various aspects of the available job roles. The session helped participants understand the expectations associated with the recruitment process and future employment opportunities.
Recruitment & Selection Process
The campus recruitment process was designed to evaluate the students' analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and programming knowledge. Final-year students from various departments actively participated in the selection process.
Aptitude Test
The aptitude round evaluated the participants' logical reasoning, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities required for technology-oriented job roles.
Programming Round
The programming round assessed students' coding knowledge and their ability to apply computational thinking and programming concepts to solve technical problems.

A total of 241 students participated in the aptitude tests and programming rounds conducted as part of the recruitment process.
Following the selection process, 15 students successfully secured offer letters, marking a significant achievement for the selected candidates and the Training and Placement Cell.
