With an intention to expand students knowledge in the subject of transportation engineering, department of civil engineering takes the IInd year students for a visit to the maruthamalai hills, Coimbatore on 10th Jan 2020. In the visit the students got a chance to get exposed to the hill roads formation & road signs. The importance of kerb & superelevation and the important factor affecting road allingment like length, altitude of the road,s addles or passes, stability and geological structures were briefly explained by the subject incharge Mr.D.krishna kumar on that day.
