Industrial Visit to M/s Salzer Electronics Limited, Samichettipalayam, Coimbatore Organized by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Jct Polytechnic College on 8th September 2018

Our department arranged an industrial visit to M/S Salzer Electronics Limited, Samichettipalayam, Coimbatore  on 8.9.18 (Saturday). We got permission to visit the company at 2.30pm.

The visit programme was started in the college premises at 11.30 am by the college bus. We reached the company at 1.15 pm and after having preliminary process, the visit was begun at 1.25 pm along with one coordinator of the company.

The students visited following sections;

• Complete rotary switches assembly in small ranges(individual parts assembly and testing)
• Complete rotary switches assembly in high ranges(individual parts assembly and testing)
• Electronic timer assembly(individual parts assembly and testing)
• Electronic relays and thermal relays assembly(individual parts assembly and testing)
• Machine shop

The visit was ended at 2.45 pm and we reached the college at 4.10 pm. The industrial visit was very useful for final year students. Along with students, three faculty were visited the company.
