International Women’s Day Celebration-2018 Organized by Women Empowerment Cell, Jct Pc on 08th March 2018

The Women’s Cell of JCT polytechnic college celebrated Women’s Day on 8th of March 2018. The programme started with a prayer and  lighting the lamp followed by formal welcome address by Mrs. Mangayarakarasi, Coordinator Women Cell, presidential address was given by principal, Mr. R.Manoharan, emphasizing on Women’s Day. The chief guest of the day Mrs. Hemamaheswari, additional public prosecutor gave women’s day lecture on “Role of women in the society.”This was followed by a Lecture from Ms Theresa Antony Muthu,Lady Village Executive Officer. The superintendent Mrs.Ambika lectured on importance of self development through a motivational story. The forenoon session was concluded with vote of thanks by  Mr.Sathish  Babu , Vice principal.

The afternoon session begun with cultural programme by girl students of all departments and  years. It provided them a platform to exhibit their talents and team work which was marvellous . The program details are as listed below;

• Group dance – II & III year.
• Group dance  – All department.
• Solo Dance – Mokshita EEE I yr
• Dubsmash – Sandhya & Sneha I yr. Civil.
