JCT polytechnic college has conducted Onam celebration in a splendid manner on 7th Oct 2019. The celebration has been inaugurated with massive entry of students from each department in the presence of principal and the department heads. The gatherings welcomed by Amarthya. G, student of mechanical engineering. The Principal Dr. R. Manoharan, JCT Polytechnic College gave the presidential address which was followed by the felicitations by Mr. A. Chandrahasan, Administrative Officer, and Dr. G. Ramesh, Principal of JCT College of Engineering. Mr. G. Arumugam, Manager and Mr. G. Senthil, Technical Officer, took participation in the celebration. Lecturer, Mr. Abner Leo, in EEE dept gave the vote of thanks to the Chairman, Secretary, Principals, Lecturers and Students for the great support to conduct the celebration. The cultural program got underway after the inauguration. The first year students from all departments participated in “The Onapookkalam” competition. Students arranged the Lunch and Ada Payasam for the lecturers. The celebration ended with a colossal performance of Nazik Drum which was performed by the most renowned band club Aghorika and B4U. Mr. S.Prasath, Head of Petro chemical department co-ordinated the entire programme to attain the great cherish and happiness.
