The students of JCT Polytechnic College celebrated Onam on 31st August 2017. The event was celebrated by all the students, the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Students from different classes gathered together to make the event a grand success. In the true spirit of Onam, the students of JCT Polytechnic participated in decorating the place with Onampookkalam. The Students of Kerala dressed themselves in traditional attires while one student was dressed like the King Mahabali.
In this function the students performed traditional cultural events like Singari Melam, Pookkalam, Classical dances etc., As a part of the celebration, various contests were also held. The celebration came to an end with the distribution of the delicious Onam Palada to all the staff and students.
