JCT Polytechnic College conducted a program for second year Parents on 14.12.17, for third year Parents on 15.12.17 and for first year Parents on 23.12.17 on “Parent Student Empowerment”.The program was co-ordinated by a team headed by Mrs. Amala Jersi Rani, HOD/S&H and Mr.Abner Leo, Lecturer(Sr.Grade)/EEE.
The main motive of the program is to create awareness to the Parents which will help further to improve their progress of their ward.219 Parent’s attended respectively on 14.12.17&15.12.17 and 150 Parent’s attended on 23.12.17.
The program was divided in to two parts. First part was a common lecture followed by feedback from the parents and the second was discussion of individual with concerned department HOD and faculty. In all days after the prayer by students, the lighting the kuttuvillakku was done by the dias people and parents.During the days Mr. Satish Babu, Vice Principal delivered the welcome address.
Prof. R.Monaharan, Principal, JCT Polytchnic College addressed the gathering on “Parent Student Empowerment”. In his speech he focused mainly on discipline, dedication and determination of student and parent. Also he shared his valuable thoughts about student’s improvement and lifelong learning process. Then he briefed about the time management and fees clearness in time. Then Mr.Sakthivel, HOD/EEE proposed the vote of thanks.After the tea break the parents are guided to meet the HOD’s of their ward to collect all the valuable data’s of their children’s.
