On Behalf of JCT Polytechnic College with the support of Management, Pongal Day was celebrated in the institute campus on 12.01.18 at 9.30.am onwards.
Prof.R.Manoharan, Principal, All HODs, all faculty members along with non- teaching and few interested students were participated in this special day celebration. All faculties dressed in dhoti and saree that completed the festive mood by creating the traditional atmosphere. They decorated the Pongal celebrations venue and the women faculty then cooked pongal with the support of men faculty. Then it was offered to the god sun by performing Pooja.
Finally the prepared Pongal was distributed to all the gathering. On behalf of Management Director, HR and Estate supervisor were also participated in the celebrations. The celebrations ended at 11.30am.
