JCT College of Engineering and Technology (JCTCET), JCT Polytechnic College (JCTPC) and JCT College of Arts & Science of JCT Institutions, successfully organized a ‘Mega Job Fair 2024’ at its premises on October 05, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This job fair aimed to provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth. Over 4,600 graduates registered for the event, with 2,000 graduates from 180 various institutions from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telungana & Bihar states participated. Sixty seven reputable companies coming from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Coimbatore were invited and participated for the recruitment.

The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by the lighting of the Kuthuvillaku by the HR team from Kone Elevators and Arjuna Naturals. Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of JCTCET, welcomed the HR representatives from various esteemed companies and inspired young job seekers with his motivational address. Dr. V. Jethose, Director of Training & Placement at JCT Institutions, expressed gratitude to the HR team and presented the job fair plan. Dr.R.M.Ganesh Placement Officer – JCTCET presented the list of companies and the venue details to the participants.

The job fair made a significant impact on the graduates. Young job seekers not only secured employment but also gained a wealth of ideas and guidance from human resource personnel. Candidates from various disciplines, including Engineering, Diploma, ITI, Arts and Science, MBA, and MCA, were enthusiastic to see 67 companies under one roof. Some of the participating companies included KONE Elevators India Pvt Ltd, Arjuna Naturals, Paytm, Ashok Leyland, Titan Company Limited, 24/7.AI (Bangalore), Holiday Residency, Gateway Software Solutions, SOFTRONICS, KMS Associates, Axis Bank (Coimbatore), Alpha Craft Private, Amphi Ventures, G Plast Private Limited, Chennai Automation Systems Private Limited, Unico Housing Finance, GG Automation, and many more.

More than 1,700 students were selected by various companies and received their ‘Appointment Orders’ from the respective HR personnel on the same day. In summary, the event was a grand success, and the college received very positive feedback from both the candidates and the companies that participated in this fair. The Principal and Management thanked the HR team from various companies and congratulated the selected candidates.
