The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, organized an enlightening seminar on “Unreach the Reach – Space Technology” on 14th October 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the JCTCET Seminar Hall. The event was conducted under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and ISTE Students’ Chapter, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goal – Quality Education.The seminar began with a warm welcome address by Dr. B. Balaraj, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students, followed by the felicitation by Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, who emphasized the importance of exploring new frontiers in science and technology.The resource person, Mr. D. Gokul, Senior Scientist, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Bengaluru, delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking session on various advancements in space technology. He highlighted India’s significant contributions to satellite launches, lunar and Mars missions, and discussed future opportunities for young engineers in the field of space research. His interactive talk captivated the audience, offering deep insights into the latest developments at ISRO and motivating students to pursue careers in research and innovation.The session was highly engaging, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment. A total of 98 participants were benefited from this event, gaining valuable knowledge and insights into the topic. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. S. Shobana, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, who expressed her gratitude to the management, the resource person, and all participants for making the seminar a grand success.
