JCT group of institutions celebrated its 17th Annual Day, Sports day and Cultural day on 16 th &17th April 2026, in the college auditorium starting at 10:30 AM. The event commenced in the college auditorium at 10:30 AM with a traditional prayer song and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Dr. V. Jethose, Placement Director and Head of the department of Artificail Intelligence and Data Science delivered the opening welcome address, followed by a comprehensive annual report presented by Principal Dr. S. Manoharan, which highlighted the institution's significant milestones and achievements.

Shri R. Durga Shankar, Secretary of JCTCET, subsequently delivered the presidential address to the gathered faculty and students. The ceremony featured a keynote address on industry readiness by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sridhar Thiruppathi, and Head of People & Culture at Braincert India Pvt Ltd, who was introduced by Dean Academics and HoD of EEE Dr. B. Balraj, Mr. Thiruppathi emphasized the critical importance of skill development, specifically highlighting employability, resilience, adaptability, and mastery of both communication and technical skills. He further advised students on the necessity of technical certifications and understanding Applicant Tracking Systems to successfully navigate the modern workforce, urging them to evolve into "thinkers". Following the address, the Chief Guest presided over an awards ceremony to honor academic toppers and the best outgoing students of the departments. The best outgoing student of the college award goes to the final year student Ms M. Bhuvanika, belongs to AI & DS department. The program concluded successfully with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. K.V. Selvakumar, Head of the BTBC department, and the singing of the National Anthem.

Following that, Sports day was celebrated at 2.00 pm in a grand manner in the college playground. The program started with Tamil Thai Valthu, Welcome address was presented by Ms.M.Bhuvanika, Final year AI&DS department. Chief Guest was introduced by Ms P. Preethi, Final year CSBS department. The college Physical Director Mr.S.Senthilkumar presented the sports day report and explained the achievements of the College for this current academic year. Our special guest, Dr P.Anbalagan, Professor, Department of Physical Education, Director, External Affairs, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Our special guest Mr M. Krish Beethovan, International Athlete, Income – Tax Dept, Coimbatore. In his address he shared his Sports experience and he encouraged the students that they should be well-versed both in sports and academics. Then he appreciated the staff members for their efficiency and hard work in well equipping the students. The achieved winners of various forum events were presented with certificates and medals by the Chief Guest and Principal. Ms.V. Anush Miria, Asst Prof /S&H was delivered the vote of thanks. The sports day was successfully ended with the National Anthem.

HALARA 2026, the annual Cultural Day of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, was vibrantly celebrated on 17th April 2026, within the college premises. The event was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. S. Manoharan, alongside faculty, administration staff and the student body. The festivities commenced with the traditional hoisting of the Halara flag and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. This was followed by a high-energy performance by drum beaters, creating an amazing atmosphere for the attendees. The program kicked off with an exhilarating car racing event, which drew a large, eager audience and allowed participants to showcase extraordinary driving talents. Central to the celebration was the showcase of student talent in singing (solo and group) and various forms of dance. These performances were noted for being innovative and reflective of recent trends, demonstrating the great involvement and pride of the "Jctians" in making the event a grand success. In the evening o first day The DJ Ms.Deepika showed her performance in the wonderful manner and made the audience astonishing and in the second day the Vijay TV fame "super singers” celebrities Ms.Punya Selva, Ms.Priya Jerson, Ms.Vinaita Sivakumar and Mr.Siddharth Menon sung and made our students community to get stun with their vibrant vocal notes.
