15.02.2018-POOL-CAMPUS DRIVE – TNQ BOOKS AND JOURNALS, CHENNAI

The Department of Training and Placement organized a “Pool-Campus Drive” at JCT campus on 15.02.2018. TNQ BOOKS AND JOURNALS, Chennai hosted the campus drive for final year Food Technology students. Totally 42 students were scrutinized based on their eligibility and were invited for this campus drive.

TNQ Books and Journals – is a publishing technology and services company based in Chennai, India. Founded in 1998, TNQ today serves some of the world leaders in STM publishing – like Elsevier, Wolters Kluwer, Royal Society of Chemistry – across time zones from Australia to North America, specialising in Roman script composition and XML-first production processes. Most recently, TNQ set up an offshore development centre for an American publishing services company. This is a culmination of years of partnership between the two companies in jointly delivering pre-publishing services to some of the most prestigious American society publishers. The ODC will gradually offshore all of the customer’s development, maintenance and support, and will be the primary hub for future joint initiatives that target the American market.

Dr. G. Ramesh (Principal) welcomed Mr.B.Maria Arul, HR Manager, TNQ books & Journals and the gathering. Mr. D. Nethaji Kumar, Placement Officer, felicitated the HR.

The HR Manager, TNQ Books and Journals briefed the company profile, history, Nature of work, work location, working hours, selection process and other aspects of the job profile.

42 students were participated in the first round of general test. After two levels of selection process 1 student got selected. The Management and the principal congratulated the selected student and thanked the recruitment team.
