The Faculty of Automobile Engineering, JCT college of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, has organized an Expert lecture on Principles of Heat Treatment of steels on 10th February 2015 Prof.V.K.Murugan, Professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Sri Ranganathar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore, presented this lecture to II year students of Automobile Engineering

The Programme started with an introduction of the expert by Prof.P.Pitchandi, Professor and Head of Automobile Engineering Department. Prof.V.K.Murugan,elaborated the various heat treatment process of steels applicable in the industry. The participants were exposed to various heat treatment process of steels and it applications. At the end of the programme Prof.A.Vinodh kumar proposed vote of thanks.
