International Women’s Day Celebration-2019

The Women Empowerment Cell celebrated International Women’s Day 2019 in JCT College of Engineering & Technology on 08.03.2019 by 10.30 am at our seminar hall. The function started with a prayer song of Thamil Thai Vazhthu.

Ms.Shirley (First year Food Technology) welcomed the chief guest and lighting of kuthuvilaku was done by the chief guest. Our respected principal Dr.G.Ramesh presided over the function. In his presidential address, he shared the importance of today’s session and asked all the women to be brave and bold. He also introduces the chief guest.

The chief guests of the function were Healer Mr.Iyarkai Kumar, M.Acu, Founder, Kovai Academy & Universal Academy of Acupuncture Sciences and Healer.Mr.M.Kothanda Raman, Secretary, Kovai Academy & Universal Academy of Acupuncture Sciences.

Healer Mr. Iyarkai Kumar gave the valuable information on women’s health and beauty. He also said when women are educated about the natural way of maintaining the health; the knowledge can be transferred to the entire family. He also said the awareness about protecting stomach. Healer Mr.M.Kothanda Raman narrated about the diet, which must be followed for the better health. He also said the awareness about how to protect uterus.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.Subhadhini (II FT). The function ended with the National Anthem.
