The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a 3rd International Conference on “ADVANCED MATERIALS, MODERN MANUFACTURING AND COMPUTERIZED AUTOMATION" on 24.04.2024 for imparting fundamental knowledge of advanced materials, modern manufacturing and computerized automation. The programme started with Tamil Thai Vazthu. Dr.G.Mahesh,HoD/Mech delivered the welcome address. Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal delivered the Presidential address and explained about the importance of this conference and emerging technologies in Industries. Then Conference Proceedings have been successfully launched by the delegates. Dr.I.J.Isaac Premkumar introduced the Resource Person.

The resource person highlighted about the latest emerging technologies in world and also how to acquire knowledge with innovative thoughts in our research work. He has pointed out the latest remarkable development of Israel Country and also the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies utilized in Israel. He reiterated the significance and importance of block chain, Internet of Things (IoT), Metaverse, Cloud Computing and World’s GDP.

He also urged the young research persons to do the research in this emerging field and so their papers can be published in International Journals without any complications and also we can inculcate many candid things to the society.

We have received 60 research papers from International and National level. Totally, more than 100 students and faculty members attended the programme. Many participants presented their papers and certificates were distributed to the participants. Prof.P.Siva, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks. Finally this Conference was concluded with National Anthem.

The Conference ended with the distribution of participant certificates with proceedings book by Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal and Dr.G.Magesh, Head of the Department, to the participants from various universities and Institutions across the World.
