4th Alumni Meet

This year brought together the alumni of the institution for the fourth time to JCT college of Engineering and Technology in the form of 4th Alumni meet held on October 13, 2019.

The Inaugural Programme of the Alumni meet commenced at 10.00 A.M. in the seminar hall. The Grandeur Alumni meet started traditionally with the Prayer song. Kuthuvilaku was lighted by the dignitaries. Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick, Vice Principal delivered Inaugural address and welcomed the entire Alumni’s. The occasion was graced by 72 Alumni’s. Next to that Memento was given to our honorable Principal Dr.G.Ramesh & Vice Principal by Mr.V.Murugesh (Associate Professor of Civil department) & Mr.Prabahar.J (Professor of Mechanical department)

Our beloved Principal published the JCT Alumni magazine-4 prepared by our Alumni coordinator. The Presidential speech was delivered by our Principal Dr.G.Ramesh in which he praised the success of 4th Alumni meet and their contribution towards the growth of their JCT and emphasized the need for further strengthening the linkage between Alumni and our college and current students.

The Inaugural session was attended by all HOD’s, Dean, alumni coordinators and staffs from various department of JCTCET. Dr.Geetha.K (Dean – Academics & research) addressed the gathering and introduced the newly formed office bearers to JCT family members. She thanked the alumni for coming from all long way for their participation. Mr.Harisudan (Alumni president) initiated to start the whatsapp group and ask everyone join in it and ensure that will support and encourage for the upcoming alumni functions.

One of our alumni Mr.Mohammed Shereef (2015 Batch- Food Technology), introduced about his new startup “sharingo” and shared his thoughts about college. Few of the Alumni shared their experience as well as interesting moments of campus life. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.Prabahar.J (Professor of Mechanical department). Function ended up with national anthem.
