The seminar on “IoT AND ITS APPLICATIONS” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. II Year CSE, III Year CSE and IV Year CSE students attended the seminar on 26th March, 2024 at 11.00 am. The session started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, thenlighting the Kuthuvilakku and welcome address was given by JulipiDivyaSree, a bright student from the III CSE.

Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of the college, delivered a compelling presidential address, underscoring the importance of embracing emerging technologies like IoT to stay at the forefront of innovation and progress.

Dr. T. Justin Jose, the Head of the CSE Department, introduced the esteemed Chief Guest Dr.R.Manimegalai, HOD/CSE, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore, highlighting their expertise and contributions to the field of IoT and technology.

The chief guest, Dr.R.Manimegalai, HOD/CSE, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore, renowned authority in the realm of IoT, delivered an insightful address, sharing valuable perspectives and real-world examples of IoT applications that are revolutionizing industries and societies.

Prof.S.Sandhya, Assistant Professor of CSE Department,expressed gratitude on behalf of the organizing committee, extending heartfelt thanks to all speakers, organizers, and participants for their valuable contributions and support towards making the seminar a success.

The seminar concluded with the rendition of the national anthem, symbolizing unity, pride, and reverence for the country.
