The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems at JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized a webinar on "Recent Trends in Machine Learning" on August 20, 2024. The webinar opened with a welcome address from Prof. K. Malarvizhi, Head of Computer Science and Business Systems, who emphasized the importance of staying current with evolving machine learning trends. Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of JCT college of Engineering and Technology, delivered the keynote speech, highlighting the significance of machine learning in various industries and encouraging students to actively engage with the session.

M.S. Vijaykumar, M.Tech, Project Manager at Forus Technologies, Chennai, allocated as a resource person, sharing his expertise and practical insights on machine learning tools and applications. The session featured a distinguished speaker, who introduced machine learning concepts and discussed practical tools, including the value proposition canvas.

The event was coordinated by Prof. J. Arun, Dept of CSBS who ensured its smooth execution and successful delivery. The webinar was especially valuable for third and fourth-year students, offering practical insights and real-world applications of machine learning. Faculty members from the CSBS department also participated, contributing to engaging discussions and enhancing the learning experience.
