The Department of Civil Engineering hosted a webinar series on "Advancement in Civil Engineering"from February 13th to February 17th 2024 (02:30 to 04:00 p.m). The webinar commenced with a welcoming address by Assistant Professor M Sadhasivam who highlighted the importance of the advancement in Civil Field in the context of rapid technological advancements. Assistant Professor D.ArulGanapathy delivered the Introduction about the Chief Guest and the importance of the webinar. Our Chief Guest, Prof. C VIVEK KUMAR, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bachupally, Hyderabad renowned expert in civil engineering, delivered a keynote presentation focusing on the “SOFTWARE APPLICATION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECTS” The topic of the discussion is the different software that we utilize in India for our civil engineering projects. Along with discussing the value of software expertise, he also discussed the social responsibility of civil engineers. Assistant Professor P.D. Reshma gave a vote of gratitude to close the webinar.
