The Department of Civil Engineering at JCTET organized an alumni meet on 23rd November 2024, at the Civil Seminar Hall. The event aimed to foster a sense of community among alumni and provide a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences between former and current students. The meet witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 06 undergraduate alumni and 08 postgraduate alumni, who had graduated from various batches. The session commenced with a warm welcome address by the Head of the Department, who highlighted the achievements of the department and its alumni over the years.Alumni shared their professional journeys, industry experiences, and insights into current trends in civil engineering.

Alumni connected with each other and the current faculty to discuss potential collaborations, internships, and placements for students.Alumni revisited the laboratories and classrooms, reminiscing about their academic days and observing the department’s advancements.The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof.M.Sadhasivam, expressing gratitude to the alumni for their valuable time and continued association with the department. The alumni expressed appreciation for the opportunity to reconnect and pledged to contribute to the department’s growth in the future.
