Alumni Talk on Artificial Intelligence in Food Processing-2024

On 31st July 2024 Department of Food Technology organized an alumni talk for our young engineers. The coordinator of the event Prof. Priyanga J Assistant Professor handled that function and planned as per the schedule. Following that a webinar has hosted by 10 am under the topic ““Artificial Intelligence in Food Processing" on 31st July 2024 by D. Shirley, Faculty, Cambridge University” . Prof. Priyanga J Assistant Professor introduced the Chief Guest to the Session.

Our Chief Guest delivered a wonderful speech about current scenario of Food Process in abroad countries and how can we implement the methods in our country and clear the obstacles for future generation. As per her view she shared a great experience of how the AI systems can be used in food process and how fast it can work by saving the time and man power.

The session is very useful for young engineers and also resource person explained about various skills requirements for Food Engineers as well as on current job openings in India. Also explained the importance of higher education, scholarships details for higher education. The co-ordinator S.Indu Assistant Professor proposed the vote of Thanks. The Event Co-ordinator Dr.P.Balamurugan thanked everyone for their valuable time.
