The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a guest lecture titled "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" on September 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Ms. Arokia Mary Caroline P, Assistant Professor in EEE, delivered the welcome address, acknowledging the Head of the Department, the resource person Dr. N. Ameena Bibi, Associate Professor and Head of Department (In Charge) at Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri, as well as all faculty and students present.

The lecture aimed to provide an overview of AI and ML, exploring their foundational concepts, applications, and future directions. Dr. Ameena shared her expertise and valuable knowledge about artificial intelligence and machine learning. Main topics discussed: Fundamentals of AI and ML, differences between AI, ML, and deep learning & applications across various sectors, including healthcare, finance, and education.

Ms. Arokia Mary Caroline P delivered the vote of thanks, expressing her heartfelt appreciation to Dr. N. Ameena Bibi for sharing her insights, as well as to the Principal, the Head of the Department, and all the students for their active participation. She also acknowledged the support of faculty members in successfully organizing the event.
