AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON “HARMFUL EFFECTS OF TOBACCO USE AND ABOUT THE TOBACCO CONTROL LAWS” ORGANIZED BY JCT INSTITUTIONS AND DISTRICT TOBACCO CONTROL CELL,COIMBATORE ON 09TH FEBRUARY 2019

JCT Institutions And District Tobacco Control Cell , Coimbatore Jointly organized Awareness Programme on Harmful effects of tobacco use and about the Tobacco Control Laws to the students of the Engineering college and polytechnic college. The programme started with prayer song.

Engineering College Dr. G. Ramesh Principal welcomed the gathering. Dr.Saranya devi, District Control Cell and Mr.Murali Krishna, Social worker, District Tobacco Control Cell delivered excellent lecture on “Harmful effects of tobacco use and about the Tobacco Control Laws” and during the seminar the Resource person explained about the Tobacco uses and effects of Tobacco uses in among the students.

In Polytechnic Dr.R. Manoharan, Principal welcomed the gathering. Dr.Saranya devi, District Control Cell and Mr.Murali Krishna, Social worker, District Tobacco Control Cell delivered excellent lecture on “NO TOBACCO”. In her speech, she insisted the impact on the use of Tobacco to one’s personal health and their family loss. Mr.Murali Krishna explained the control sections available in TOBACCO. Prof.A.Sakthivel, HOD/EEE proposed the vote of thanks.Finally the programme ended with National Anthem.
