The Department of Training and Placement Cell organized a “Campus Drive” at JCT campus on 30.01.2020 (Thursday) and 31.01.2020 (Friday). Hyundai Steel India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, PPG Asian Paints Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, Saehan Stamping Pvt. Ltd., Chennai and Roki Minda Co. Ltd., Chennai hosted the campus drive for Diploma and Engineering students of Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics and Petrochemical. The students were invited and shortlisted based upon the eligibility criteria. 273 students were finally shortlisted and invited for the drive.

Hyundai Steel India Pvt. Ltd., is part of the Hyundai Steel Company family. Two production lines – the Slitter Line, the Shear Line play a major role in the company, mainly by dividing the steel coils either longitudinally into strips or crosswise into sheets. Production tasks are done at the production plant in Sengadu Village near Sriperumbudur, Chennai.

Ltd., is a quality driven organization offering a wide range of Air moisture separator, air flow systems, air cooled compressors, air receiver tank, vibro separator and air compressor. The firm supplies Air moisture separator, air flow systems, air cooled compressors, air receiver tank, vibro separator, air compressor within preset time limit.

ROKI Minda Co. Private Limited is a Joint Venture between UNO MINDA and Roki Co. Limited of Japan. Roki Company Ltd. was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan. It is a leading manufacturer of automotive air intake systems, carbon canisters, intake manifolds & power steering fluid filters, automatic transmission fluid filters, power steering fluid tanks in Japan, North America, Asia and Europe.

Dr.G.Ramesh (Principal-JCTCET), Dr. V.J. Arul Karthick (Vice Principal-JCTCET) and Dr.R.Manoharan (Principal-JCTPC) welcomed the HR team and the gathering. Prof.V.Jethose (Head – Training and Placement) delivered the key note address. Mr. Nethaji Kumar D (Placement Officer) felicitated the guests. The HR person briefly explained about the company profiles, Nature of work, Work locations and other benefits.

Totally 273 students were scrutinized for attending this drive. After pre placement talk, they had group discussion round and face to face interview. The result will be announced within a week time. The Management and the principal thanked the recruitment team.
