The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a programme entitled "Computer Science and Engineering Department Association Inauguration and Seminar On “Introduction to AI and ML” on 24.09.2022 at 10.30 a.m. at the JCTCET Seminar Hall.

The inauguration started with Thamizthai vazhthu. Mr.J.Johny Sebastine, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, gave welcome address. Mr.K.Rajkumar , Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, introduced the office bearers of the Student Association and explained the Plan of Activities of the Department, in the Academic Year 2022–2023.

Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, gave the presidential address. , Dr.G.Rajiv Suresh Kumar, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, introduced the chief guest to the gathering. Mr. K. RAMKUMAR, a Project manager, Synovers was the chief guest and gave a talk on the vital role of Computer Science and Engineering in various Domains, the job opportunities, and the importance of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domains in the software industry. He encouraged and motivated the students to participate in more research-oriented projects.

More than 250 students and 15 faculty members attended the programme, K.Gunal of final year CSE Student, the chairman of CSE Student association, proposed the vote of thanks. The function ended with the National Anthem.
