Department of Petroleum Engineering organized an alumni talk on 16th February 2023 at 10 am in the seminar Hall of JCT College of Engineering and Technology by our distinguished Alumni Mr. ABINESHWARAN.T Mud Chemist / QA Analyst, Ennor Muds and Chemicals, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on the topic of Modern Drilling Fluids.

Mr Janardhanan. K Assistant Professor, Department of Petroleum Engineering, Invited Our Petroleum Engineering Alumni Mr. Abineshwaran. T. along with the students of second year, third year and final year Petroleum & Petrochemical Engineering Department.

Dr.Venkatesh babu.S HOD, Department of Petroleum Engineering gave an introduction about Drilling Fluid and Mud Engineering.

Our Alumni Chief Guest Mr. Abineshwaran.T motivated students to have more exposure in Mud Engineering. He also advised to do internship in the field of Drilling Fluids and exclusively third years students to do mini project in cementing techniques. He projected various job opportunities in this related field and how to apply for it.

In this event more than 75 students from Petroleum and Petrochemical Department highly interacted and gained the valuable experience about Modern Drilling Fluids.

Alumni talk ended with the Vote of thanks by Vasikaran.V Final Year Petroleum Engineering student of Petroleum Engineering Department.
