On 28th February 2025, the Department of Petrochemical Technology organized a workshop on 'Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design' in the JCTCET Seminar Hall. The event commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Mr. Infant Prajin Joy, a second-year student from the Department of Petrochemical Technology, delivered the welcome address. Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of JCTCET, provided the presidential address, setting a tone of inspiration and encouragement.

The Chief Guest introduction was given by Mr. Tharick K. Dr.G.Arumugam, Associate Professor, Department of Petrochemical Technology, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur, Coimbatore, addressed the gathering imparting valuable knowledge on applying design thinking, critical thinking, and innovation design principles to develop novel, user-centered solutions that drive creative problem-solving and informed decision-making. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Akash A, a third-year student from the Department of Petrochemical Technology, followed by the National Anthem."
