Dhruvaz 2k17,”Constant Faithful” A National Level Mech Fest was Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCTCET on 16 & 17  February 2017 at JCT Seminar hall by 10.00am. The main Moto of Dhruvaz 2k17 is “BRING OUT YOUR INNER POTENTIAL”. We invited the students from all around the nation, to put their Ingenuity and Aptitude to test on unparalleled level of competitions. The Chief Guest of this function was Mr.M.S.Nair. B.Tech(IIT), MBA(IIM). Director & Country Manager (Rtd),Villeroy & Boch India Pvt Ltd. The gathering was welcomed by Prof.P.Pitchandi, HOD-Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mr.G.Ramesh, Principal JCTCET, delivered the Presidential address.  Mr.G.Raj Bharath Krishnan, coordinator Dhruvaz 2k17 gave a brief narration about the Mech Fest.

The inauguration was done by lighting the Kuthu-Vilakku by Chief Guest, HOD, and other Faculty’s and Students.  The Chief Guest was honored by our HOD by giving a momentum and shawl as a token of love. The Mech Fest is of Two days Programme. Mr. Vishnu .T.R Third year Mechanical Engineering delivered vote of thanks on behalf of staffs and students. The function finished by 4.00 PM with grand success.

DAY 1: WORK SHOP

The work shop was on “Nature’s Mechanism (in Agriculture)” by Mr.Madhu. Ramakrishnan.  He covered the topics on role of the engineers to save Agriculture, latest technological development in agricultural machines and equipments.

These topics were covered to mold the students to simulate their creative ideas and knowledge to the society.
