The Eleventh graduation day of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur, Coimbatore conducted at the college auditorium from 10.30 am onwards on 23.11.24. After the academic procession, the programme started with the traditional Tamilthai vazhthu. Dr.Manoharan addressed the welcome speech Dr. R. Arul selvan, Chairman, also welcomed the gathering and delivered the Eleventh graduation day report.

In the graduation day address, the Chief Guest Prof Amiya kumar Rath Honourable vice chancellor, Biju Patnaik University appreciated the management and staff for acquiring the national accreditation such as NAAC and NBA in a very short period even though the service rendered by the institution to the society is only 14 years since 2009.

In The Department of Petro chemical Engineering Rahul has secured the second rank from the Anna University Secondly, Abdulla Hamza A OF Petro chemical Engineering has secured the third rank Tejavu Gopala Krishna has secured the fourth rank and Sowmya P of Food Technology has secured the sixth rank and added honour to the college.

He also addressed that “The students must be relevant, confident and indulge in Learning process also he insisted the silence and Group discussion, Professional growth, Different teaching methods in the classroom”. The buzz of the day is “Knowledge of Engineering, Broadening the future, create a brand interaction, essence of period of time, Hundreds of opportunities, As Abraham Lincoln said “Failure is the pillar of Success”. Mahatma Gandhi said “Respect your parents and to follow the life long promise”. It is a proud moment for the parents to witness their wards receiving the degree from Anna University, one of the prestigious institutions in India. He encouraged the graduates to involve in nation building and taking the risks in their life with their innovations in one way or the other.

The Chief Guest then distributed the degree certificates to the Under Graduates and Post Graduates in this function. Totally 233 graduates were honored including Postgraduates with their degree certificates by the chief guest. Out of this, 4 students are rank holders of Anna University from Petrochemical Engineering and Food Technology Departments. Finally the Principal administered the pledge to the students. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
