The Departments of BTBCE and Food Technology, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, organized and celebrated “Engineer’s Navaratri Golu Fest” (Day 8) on 30th September 2025 at the JCTCET Main Block. The event began at 10:00 AM and was held under the theme of integrating engineering creativity with cultural tradition.
The Golu display showcased innovative engineering models and food technology exhibits, creatively arranged to reflect the spirit of Navaratri and the significance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. Students demonstrated their talents through mini-models, informative charts, and artistic representations of modern technology concepts related to biotechnology and food science.
The celebration highlighted the importance of combining innovation with tradition, encouraging students to develop a scientific outlook while respecting cultural heritage. Faculty members and students from both departments actively participated, contributing models and decorations that made the Golu vibrant and educational.
