The first session of the ‘Expert Talk’ series, organized by the Electronics and communication Engineering Department, witnessed an energetic and insightful talk by Mr.L.R.Saktheeswaran M.E., Tech Lead- Cognizant Technology Solutions. The session was titled as: “Carrier opportunities for Electronics Engineers in an I.T sector”.

The faculty members, Alumni students attended the expert talk on 12th August at 3.00pm. Welcome address was given by Mrs. Thahseen Thahir AP/ECE. The chief guest discussed about the opportunities in IT field, Techniques to prepare for interview and working experience in IT field.

He advised the students to develop knowledge on programming languages like C,C++ and python and he discussed about the roles of software analyst, electronics design engineer, technical director and network planning engineer. He has given guidelines for recruitment process of various MNC’s like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, HCL. After the session, the speaker also was keen on answering the relevant queries coming from the students with regard to IT field . Vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. S. Mohanapriya. AP/ECE.
