GUEST LECTURE ON “DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF ALGORITHM” ORGANIZED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING HELD ON 11TH MARCH 2019

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized the guest lecture on Design and Analysis of Algorithm on 11th march 2019. The resource person for this program was, Mr Vamsee Krishna Kiran, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeedam Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The program started with the prayer song. The welcome address was given by Dr.G. Rajiv Suresh Kumar, Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The chief guest first gave an introduction about the subject, which gave everyone a clear view about the same. He then illustrated the importance and applications of Design and Analysis of Algorithm with real time examples.

He explained in detail about the Backtracking, Branch and Bound techniques. He also taught to solve the problems related to the topics.

He also explained about how simple the subject can be when it is learned in a better way. He also narrated about various real time situations where we can implement these problems.
