The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Guest Lecture entitled “INTRODUCTION TO SIX SIGMA” on 16.10.2024 for imparting basics of six sigma, importance of six sigma and its application in various Industries. Mr.D.AnandaKumar,AP/Mech delivered the welcome address and Mr.R.Mahendran,AP/Mech invited the Chief Guest. The resource person had given an importance and significance of six sigma and its impact on Industries. He also narrated that, how six sigma is incorporated in day to day basis. He pointed out the essence of “SIX SIGMA” in industries and its scope on various fields. He also shared the importance of six sigma used in industries. Totally, more than 40 students and 10 faculty members attended the programme. Mr.M.Prabhu, Assistant Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
