"Inauguration of Associations 2023-2024" for all Engineering Departments was held at JCT College of Engineering and Technology on August 4, 2023. The program began at the JCT Seminar Hall at 10:00 am. The seminar hall was filled with members of the students association as well as all of the department Heads and Event Coordinators.

The celebration started with Tamilthai Vazhthu, followed by dignitaries lit the Kuthuvilaku. Dr. S. Venkatesh Babu, HoD/Department of Petroleum Engineering offered the speech of welcome. Presidential address was given by Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal/JCT CET

Mr. R. Sethuramalingam, Managing Director of Shale Petro Academy Private Limited, Chennai attended the event as the chief guest. The Head of Department for each department introduced and honoured each member of the Association Team. He described the training programs offered by Shale Petro Academy in numerous streams to obtain employment prospects in Middle Eastern nations. Dr.S.Kavitha, HoD/Department of Petrochemical Engineering, gave the final vote of thanks. National Anthem was played to close the program.
