The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Seminar entitled “Industry 4.0 -Advanced Manufacturing Process, Manufacturing Planning Methods and Aluminium Extrusion” on 22.10.2024 for imparting basics manufacturing process importance of Advanced Manufacturing Process and its application in various Industries. Mr.M.Prabhu,AP/Mech delivered the welcome address and Mr.R.Mahendran,AP/Mech invited the Chief Guest. The resource person had given an importance and significance of Industry 4.0 -Advanced Manufacturing Process, Manufacturing Planning Methods and Aluminium Extrusion and its impact on Industries. He also narrated that, how Industry 4.0 is incorporated in day to day basis. He pointed out the essence of “Industry 4.0” in industries and its scope on various fields. He also shared the importance of Advanced Manufacturing Process used in industries. Totally, more than 40 students and 10 faculty members attended the programme. Mr.D.Ashok kumar Associate Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
