The Department of Civil Engineering and Institution Innovation Council at JCT College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized an Inter-Institutional Innovation Competition for students, providing a platform to present their innovative project ideas on 27th and 28th February 2025. The competition aimed to foster creativity, technical excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students from various departments. The event commenced with a Welcome speech by Mr. D. Arul Ganapathy, Assistant professor in Civil Department, who emphasized the importance of innovation in shaping the future of engineering and technology. This was followed by an introduction of the chief guest by Mr. Hari G. S, Assistant professor in Civil Department, highlighting their expertise and contributions to the field of engineering and innovation.

The competition featured a series of presentations showcasing innovative project ideas from students across different disciplines. Participants demonstrated their creativity and technical proficiency, addressing real-world challenges with innovative solutions. The competition served as an excellent opportunity for students to exchange ideas, receive feedback, and enhance their problem-solving skills.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. V. Murugesh, HoD in Civil Engineering, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, faculty members, participants, and organizers for their contributions to the success of the event.
