The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems at JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized an “Inter/Intra Institutional Start-Up Competition" on August 21.8.2024, 22.8.2024, 23.8.2024. The main objective of this program is to improve the student’s start-up talents.

This event started with a welcome address from Prof. K. Malarvizhi, Head of Computer Science and Business Systems, who emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship. Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of JCT college of Engineering and Technology, delivered the keynote speech, highlighting the significance of start-up in various domains and encouraging students to actively engage with the session.

Start-up competition was conducted on 21.08.2024 for BTBC, MECH and CIVIL departments with judges Dr.P.Ramachandran, HOD/Petroleum Engineering and Dr.P.Balamurugan, HOD/Food Technology. Second day (22.8.2024) this event was steered for PCE, PE, FT and EEE with judges Dr.V.Jethose, HOD/Artificial Intelligence &Data Science and Dr.Balraj, HOD/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Third day (23.8.2024) this event was lead for CSE, CSBS, ECE and AIDS with judges Dr.S.Kavitha, HOD/Petrochemical Engineering and Drs.S.Mohanapandian, HOD/S&H The event was coordinated by Prof. J. Arun, and Mr.Merphin, Dept of CSBS who ensured its smooth execution and successful conduct of this event. At the end of this event certificates were given to participants and winners. Prof. J. Arun concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing deep appreciation for the judges, organizers, and participants for their valuable contributions and efforts.
