The one-day hands on workshop on “INTRODUCTION TO CLOUD COMPUTING AND AZURE DEVOPS” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The session started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, then the welcome address was delivered by Prof. Leena V P Assistant Professor / CSE. Dr. S Zulaikha Beevi, Head of the CSE Department, introduced the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. A. Syed Haroon, Assistant Professor, School of Information Science, Presidency University, Bengaluru.

Final Year and Third Year students of Computer Science and Engineering attended the online workshop on 15th November, 2024 from 2.00 pm onwards. He explained briefly about the virtualization in cloud computing and the components and sub-components required for cloud computing (Front end, Back-end platforms, Cloud-based delivery and a network). Also he explained briefly about the Azure Devops services and tools. Participants were guided through creating an Azure account and deploying a sample application. Students engaged in an open discussion to address their queries about cloud computing and Azure Devops. Finally vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Anusha P, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
