The Department of Mechanical Engineering has Conducted “J-Finagles 2026 - A National level Technical Symposium 2026” on 25.03.2026.Totally, more than 84 students from other Colleges participated in various events conducted in our department. The various events conducted are

1) Paper Presentation

2) Poster/Project Display

3) Mech Quiz

4) CAD Master

5) Treasure Hunt/Fun Games

Dr. M. Bhuvaneshwaran, HoD/Mech addressed the gathering about the importance of this symposium and insisted the participants to participate in the events. He also narrated that the National Level Technical Symposium is not just an event but a comprehensive learning experience that bridges the gap between academics and industry, enhances technical and personal skills and prepares students for real-world challenges. It plays a vital role in shaping future engineers and innovators. After completion of these events the cash prizes and the certificates were distributed for the winners and the various participants.

Totally, more than 84 students and 12 faculty members attended the programme. This was followed by vote of thanks, delivered by Prof.S.Settu [Event Co-coordinator]. A National Level Technical Symposium is a major academic event where students, researchers and professionals from different institutions across the country come together to share knowledge, showcase skills and explore innovations.
