JFINAGLES – PETRONOVA 2K19 NATIONAL LEVEL SYMPOSIUM ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM ENGINEERING ON 11TH MARCH 2019

Petronova2k19 was started by 10.00 .m. The Chief Guest Mr.Mahadevan,GM(Petroleum Exploration),ONGC(retired) has arrived by 9.30 a.m. and was welcomed by Principal of JCT CET,Dr.G.Ramesh.

As the clock strucks by 10.15 a.m.,the function have started in the presence of all dignitaries Chief guests.Kuthuvilaku was lightened by Mr.R.Mahadevan, Principal, Mr.R.Mahadevan, HoD (PE) , Dr.S.VenkateshBabu and student representatives. Professor.G.Balachandran briefed about the ONGC expert Mr.Mahadevan.

Our Principal Dr.G.Ramesh gave the Presidential address and HoD welcomes all the dignitaries. The Lecture session was started 11.00 a.m. by Mr.Mahadevan,GM,ONGC(retired). He gave lots of information regarding geological exploration,Seismic activities and interpretation.ONGC-expert had a brief interaction with final year ,third year and second year students on Technical questions.

The technical session included all the lithological datas,Log data interpretations.At the end of the lecture Prof.G.Balachandran gave vote of thanks to Mr.Mahadevan and Staff Co-ordinated by Mr.G.Mahendran.

The Guest after lunch left to Airport. The Post lunch session was started by 2.00 p.m. with Technical and non-Technical events. The Mud foodball was very successfuland it was conducted on the ground opposite to the Auditorium.

During that time PUBG event war also conducted at D1-CR1 second year class room..After the both events a performance by the Drum Team was conducted at college campus,which lasted about 45 Minutes.After the Drums performance First year year students performed an flash mob at the auditorium.By the end of the Flash mob,Zafar Live concert was started.

The whole session was entertraining with music and dance. By 5.30 p.m. the programme come to an end and Thus Petronova-2019 comes to an end.
