JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 09.02.2024 with University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy for exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members and personnel development of joint academic research, including conducting international workshops. The Memorandum of Understanding will facilitate for development of research projects, implementation of academic activities such as courses, lectures, symposia, seminars and all kinds of academic materials, exchange and collaboration in cultural projects of mutual interest, sharing of experience, exchange of publications in the fields of interest of both institutions, collaborative professional development and joint educational programmes. This MoU has been signed between Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore and Dr. Gianluca Gatto, Professor and Technical Director, University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy. The Mou documents have been released by Dr. Santhosh Paramasivam on 28.05.2024. As part of this MoU a seminar has been conducted by The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on the topic “Tools and Techniques to Enhance Effective Research in AI Era”. Through the seminar he enlightened the gathering about the importance of research, paper writing and publications for beginners and to expertise in the same. He also insisted the faculty members to do more paper publications. Dr. Justin Jose, Head of CSE / Dean (Research) delivered welcome address and the Presidential address were delivered by Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal / JCT College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), also he encouraged the audience to do research in their specified areas. Dr. K. Geetha Head of EEE / Dean (Academics) delivered vote of thanks. She thanked our resource person, Principal and management for their extended support for organizing this event successfully. Around 200 + faculties of JCT Institution participated in the event.
