The Department of EEE organized a program on “Microcontroller Based Sensor Integration for IoT” on 10th February, 2025 at 10.00 am (Virtual), JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, with the presence of Dr.B. Balraj (Dean-Academics, HoD/EEE), Faculty Members of EEE and Program Coordinator Ms.Arokia Mary Caroline P (AP/EEE). The main objective of the program is to highlight the essential role microcontrollers and also discusses commonly used microcontrollers, sensor types, communication protocols, and practical use cases.In this program, 50+ students have participated and gained the knowledge about the Sensor Integration. The session covered the fundamentals of microcontrollers, sensor types, and the methods used to integrate them for real-time data acquisition. The seminar also emphasized power management strategies essential for long-term IoT deployments, and the role of cloud and edge computing in handling and processing the collected data. Ms.Arokia Mary Caroline P (Assistant Professor/EEE) initiates the Program and Mrs. M Shanthi (Assistant Professor/EEE) delivered the vote of thanks to participants and faculty members who have supported the event to get completed in successfully manner.It was a very fruitful Program to students, organized by Department of EEE, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.
