The Department of Petrochemical Engineering in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized an inspiring session titled “Motivation Towards Tomorrow’s Entrepreneur” on 11th November 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in the JCTCET Seminar Hall. The programme commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu by all the participants. The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr. K. Tharick, Final Year, Petrochemical Engineering, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s competitive world. The Principal Address was given by Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal, JCTCET. He encouraged the students to develop innovative ideas and emphasized the institution’s continuous support in fostering entrepreneurial skills among students. Following this, Mr. M. Bala, Final Year, Petrochemical Engineering, introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. Rajasekar Sivasamy, Project Associate – Startup TN, Coimbatore. He briefed the audience about the Chief Guest’s professional achievements and contributions towards promoting startups and innovation.

The Chief Guest Address was delivered by Mr. Rajasekar Sivasamy, who shared his valuable insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup ecosystems. He motivated students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and provided guidance on various support schemes available under Startup TN for budding entrepreneurs. His speech inspired the audience to think beyond conventional career paths and explore opportunities in business and innovation.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. K. Tharick, Final Year, Petrochemical Engineering, who expressed gratitude to the Management, Principal, Chief Guest, Faculty Members, and Students for making the event a great success. The programme concluded with the National Anthem. Overall, the event was highly motivational and provided a great platform for students to understand the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in shaping the future.
