On 17th March 2023 JAKRUTHI a National Level Technical Symposium for Polytechnic students was conducted at JCT College of Engineering and Technology. The event started with the inaugural function at 10.00 a.m. in JCT Seminar Hall. All the Heads of the Departments, Event Coordinators and participants from various polytechnic colleges were present at the seminar hall.

After lighting the Kuthuvilaku by the dignitaries, the ceremony began with Tamilthai Vazhthu. Dr. S. Kavitha, HOD/PCE, gave the greeting speech. Principal, Dr. S. Manoharan delivered the Presidential address, and Prof. K. Kaviyarasan of the Department of Petrochemical Engineering offered the vote of thanks.

The Participants then took part in different activities organised by the departments of PCE, PE, BTBC, and FT. Numerous Polytechnic College students competed in both offline and online technical competitions. The first activity was a paper presentation, which was followed by a project exhibition, a technical quiz and a one-minute presentation. 40 students took part in the morning session of all the aforementioned activities.

The afternoon programme began at 2.00 p.m. with enjoyable games for the participants. Last but not least, winners and volunteers received their prizes and certificates.
